NYC Focus Continues with Travel Show

Dovetailing this month’s guerilla marketing assault on the Big Apple, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater (VSPC) will make another splash in NYC at this weekend’s New York Times Travel Show.

VSPC Senior Leisure Sales Manager Rob Price will join partners from three local hotel properties—Alden Beach Resort & Suites, Sirata Beach Resort and the Innisbrook Golf Resort—on the floor of the show, March 2-4, to greet inquisitive pros and shoppers alike.

Price will be promoting VSPC’s current “Land in Sand” giveaway—the same promotion featured on wrapped double-decker buses, in subway cars and a variety of other New York City locales. That sweepstakes winner will receive round trip airfare for four and a 7-night stay at the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach. Included in the package are gift cards for car rental and dinner, “Best of St. Pete/Clearwater” attraction tickets and more.

The nation’s largest consumer show, which draws more than 25,000 travel enthusiasts to Manhattan’s massive Javits Center, offers attendees the latest information from more than 500 destinations.

Travel seminars held throughout the day will be hosted by experts in the field including Arthur and Pauline Frommer, Samantha Brown, Julia Dimon, Patricia Schultz, Brian Kelly (The Points Guy), Stephanie Abrams, The New York Times editorial team and more.
