Following an overall strategy to improve communication with visitors, VSPC engaged the services of Phase V of Southwest FL some four years ago. Since then, visitors calling day or night for information on the area are always greeted by a real person with knowledge of the destination.

Phase V, which is based in Ft. Myers, offers plenty of training, as well as familiarization tours to St. Pete/Clearwater (pictured here in Tarpon Springs), so that its employees are well-informed and up-to-date on attractions and local hot spots. For example, a two-day FAM tour in September included visits to resorts, bed-and-breakfast inns, museums and aquariums across the area for a trainer and three Phase V representatives.

Phase V also handles requests for Visitor Guides, as well as direct mailings, for VSPC.
